Assembly step 1 (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3)
Slide the bottom intermediate plate with the lettering “COMER INDUSTRIES CORPORATION” (position 3) and the side panels (position 1) vertically into each other. The parts should be placed at the right angles and aligned with each other at the slots (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3).

Slide 2 intermediate plates designed to store small parts (position 4) horizontally and parallel into the side panels (see Fig. 4).

Slide the intermediate plate at the top with the lettering “WALTERSCHEID” (position 2) crosswise and at right angles to each other vertically into the slots (see Fig. 5).

Insert the clamping screws with the hook into the lower hole of the side panel (see Fig. 6).

Fit the snap hook of the tensioning cable to the hole in the top of the side panel (see Fig. 7) and connect it to the open hook of the tensioning cable. Position the tensioning ropes crosswise (see Fig. 8).

Tighten the tensioning screws evenly and tension the tensioning cables (see Fig. 9).

Cut the edge protection profile to match the length of the side parts of the support surfaces and adjust (see Fig. 10).

- Attach the supplied type plate in the lower area of the drive shaft rack to the holes provided using rivets.
Maintenance and care
- During the development of the drive shaft rack, great importance was dedicated to designing a modern, innovative and cost-effective product. Galvanized sheet steel was chosen, which is shaped by laser cutting accordingly. Over a long period of use, this can lead to slight rusting of the cut edges (primarily, but not exclusively, on the contact surfaces). If necessary, this can be removed by simple manual mechanical processing and covered with commercially available corrosion protection agents.
- The surface must not be cleaned with steel wool or other metal brushes, as these will scratch the steel surface. Also avoid contact with caustic (corrosive) materials such as powder. They can damage the surface and lead to rust formation. Use a soft sponge or cloth to wipe off fingerprints or dust deposits.
- Stubborn stains can also be removed with mild soap or washing-up liquid and warm water. After cleaning, wipe thoroughly and dry.
- When equipping the drive shaft stand, ensure that the load is evenly distributed. Dabei dürfen folgende Belastungsgrenzen nicht überschritten werden: – Lagerung Gelenkwellen bis 30 kg/St – Belastung Fachboden-Zwischenplatte je 10 kg
